Cheryl Geosits, an eRYT500 yoga teacher, has been teaching yoga for over 7 years. She completed her 300 hour teacher training (2010) and Urban Zen Integrative Therapy program (2012) with Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee, and continues to study with them. With a Masters in Biology and a passion for learning about yoga and human anatomy, Cheryl also completed Jason Ray Brown’s 108 hour Anatomy Studies for Yoga Teachers program. As an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist, she’s worked with cancer patients at Beth Israel Medical Center, and she is also a certified Silver Sneakers teacher. Everyday, Cheryl applies her knowledge of musculoskeletal biomechanics and her yoga training to skillfully sequence classes to help improve students’ alignment and overall mind body wellness, focusing on healthy aging through yoga. She feels privileged to have such wonderful teachers to guide her in her journey to be of service to others.
