About This Program
This 50-Hour Flow Teacher Training is designed for yoga teachers who have completed a 200-hour training and are interested in teaching Shanti Flow classes. The training will focus on the following topics:
- What is Flow?
- Adapting Yoga Shanti’s teaching guidelines to Flow sequencing
- The relationship between Ashtanga yoga and Flow
- Anatomy of the spine and the circulatory system
- The role of music and poetry in a Flow class
Those taking the training are encouraged to also take the 50-Hour Advanced Training with Colleen & Rodney, and the Pelvic Floor training with Leslie Howard. There will be discussions on how to incorporate the work from these trainings into public Flow classes.
The training begins on Sunday, April 2nd from 11:00am-4:00pm with an in-depth inquiry into Ashtanga yoga’s Primary series. The training will continue on Wednesday’s from 10:30am-2:00pm between April 5th and June 28th, 2017.
A 200-hour yoga teacher-training certification is required for acceptance to this program.
Tuition for this program is is $1200. There is a reduced rate of $1000 for applicants who register, are accepted, and paid in full by March 1st.
