A practitioner of yoga since the mid-90s, Gina has been teaching since 2005. Initially attracted to the physicality of yoga asana, over time, her focus and interests shifted to include the more contemplative aspects of the practice. She views the yoga mat as a safe laboratory to work with and make choices about habits and patterns – ultimately creating ease and freedom in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. It is this ongoing self-discovery process that inspires her to unfurl and step onto her mat every day; it also informs how she shares the teachings with others.
In 2016, upon completion of her certification as an Urban Zen Integrative Therapist, Gina left her corporate day job to focus exclusively on yoga and therapeutics. A long time New Yorker, she resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and enjoys daily excursions into her sanctuary: Central Park.
