Originally from Tennessee, Diana spent two decades studying and teaching movement modalities from gymnastics, theater and dance, before she found herself repeatedly attending yoga classes, drawn in by the peace and balanced state she discovered through the practice. Diana has over 500 hours of training, and most recently completed both the 200hr and 50hr advanced trainings at Yoga Shanti. Diana leads a balanced yoga practice to develop self-awareness and self-mastery, to enhance our connection, compassion, power, and freedom. Her classes are blended from her studies in Vinyasa, Iyengar and Katonah, informed by her home practice. She teaches for all levels and focuses on precise, proper alignment and awareness of the breath. She also partners with non-profits and social impact initiatives to help make yoga accessible for everyone. Diana lives in New York where she is grateful to continue her studies with Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman and Abbie Galvin.
