About This Program

The art of sequencing a yoga class is a never-ending creative process that grows as your practice deepens. This course will optimize your ability to build safe, effective and illuminating sequences for your classes and yourself based on sound physiological principles. We’ll explore sequencing for different effects, including emotional states, therapeutics, pranic absorption, and exploration of the Bandhas. The art of touch and manual adjustment is likewise a nuanced exploration that emerges from deep listening, comprehension and observation. We’ll study the principles of manual adjustment and their applications to essential poses, leaving you more confident in your ability to assist students to discover greater ease in the poses and the breath.
