About This Program

This tricky and challenging group of poses is often under-represented in public classes, but we do our students and ourselves a disservice by avoiding them. When executed with comprehension and proper preparation, they’re invaluable in building confidence, strength and equilibrium. The exhilaration and benefits offered by being upside down, or balancing the entire weight of the on the arms and hands, or by finding true release in the hips, makes these asanas well worth the effort. Let’s keep these valuable poses in our repertoire by understanding the progression that leads to the “aha” moment, while arming ourselves with the step by step knowledge necessary to tackle them safely.

Though not required, this advanced level teacher training is designed for students who have already completed a 200-hour program. Serious practitioners looking to continue their personal studies in yoga are also welcome to enroll.


The cost for this individual training module is $1150. This 50-hour advanced training module accrues towards our 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. Students can enroll in the full 300-hour training or choose to complete any of the five modules on a non-matriculated basis.
