This module will explore the principles and design of Shanti-style classes at all levels. We’ll investigate the differences between Beginners and Open level classes, including modification of poses, use of props and cueing. We’ll examine how Shanti Flow is different from Shanti Sweat, explore various aspects of Vinyasa Flow and learn how to generate heat in the body through safe and effective movement at all levels. We’ll consider how to augment any class with complimentary restorative postures and breath awareness techniques so you gain confidence in your ability to help all your students find a state of alert relaxation and freedom of breath.
