The study of Pranayama is a natural progression from an ongoing Asana practice, but it can be confusing and formidable to go it alone. Join us as we take a deep dive into the subtle aspects of breath and seek to understand the role of the Bandhas and their interaction with the various layers of body, brain and mind. This investigation will be aided by a close look at the Bhagavad Gita and other philosophical texts that will enrich your personal practice and offer you new insights to share with your students.

Classroom Hours

Friday: 5:00-8:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am-6:00pm (90-minute lunch break)


This teacher training is designed for students who have already completed a 200-hour program. Serious practitioners looking to continue their personal studies in yoga are also welcome to apply; admittance into the program is subject to approval on a case by case basis.

This 50-hour Advanced Training module comprises part of our larger 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Students can enroll in the full 300-hour training or choose to complete any of the five 50-hour modules on a non-matriculated basis.
