Spring Forward: Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic Practices for the Season

As Winter recedes, it is a wonderful time to come out and PLAY. This is nature’s birthing season-the time of creativity and development. In this workshop we will discuss yoga practices and dinacharya (daily self care routine) that can best support you in the Spring. A seasonal routine is actually one of our best tools for minimizing spring’s kapha-aggravating potential while supporting the elimination of any accumulated excess. In this workshop we will discuss the organs that need support in spring and how our yoga practice can help us shed excess, support cleansing, and gain clarity over what we discovered within in winter, and how best to bring that forth now.
Kari Harendorf is an E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher, Holistic Heath Facilitator, Reiki Master, and Dog Trainer. She merges a spiritual practice with health science to spread love and help people feel and be their best. A teacher of teachers, Kari is on the faculty of Yoga Shanti’s 200-Hour, 300-Hour and Advanced Teacher Trainings, playfully focusing on helping students and teachers achieve precise anatomical alignment. She believes in the body’s innate intelligence and motivates her students to realize and foster a sense of body awareness and healing through yoga, nutrition, and healthy living.
