Yoga and Tarot: Igniting Intuition

Join Yoga Shanti Teacher Jamie Lugo and Tarot Expert Dina Berrin for a night of Yoga and Tarot. Jamie will guide you through a yoga practice designed to highlight your inner leader and intuition and then Dina will teach you how to read your own Tarot! She will teach you the basics of colors, symbols and numbers and by the end of the evening you’ll be reading your own cards. The tarot is a deck of 78 cards that each hold their own imagery, symbolism and story. Within these 78 cards the tarot deck holds the storybook of our life, the mirror to our soul and the key to our inner wisdom. Every lesson that crosses our path can be found within the deck. As we work with the cards, we are shown the lessons we need to learn. The tarot works like a mirror, allowing access to what lies a bit deeper within us. Tarot is perfect for self development, making choices, manifesting goals, coaching others, planning a business and/or meditation. Yoga is about digging deep in order to allow our intuition come through. Tarot is about utilizing your own intuition to navigate through life.
Dina Berrin is a tarot reader with an endless curiosity about what is going on beneath that smooth and shiny surface we show the world. Her love affair with all things divination started at an early age when she was introduced tarot and astrology by her beloved grandmother. She has studied tarot, astrology, numerology and other disciplines over the years. Although her readings and teaching can be a mix of all that she has studied, her first love is tarot. Dina is also a trained CTI Life Coach and impactful public speaker.
Jamie Lugo was born and raised in Northern California, moved to NYC in 2006 and has been teaching full time in New York and Brooklyn since 2009. In addition to being a teacher, mentor and life coach she is part of the lead faculty in Yoga Shanti’s 200 and 300hr Teacher Trainings. She is also a 500hr E-RYT. Jamie’s classes are a combination of her studies with and emphasis on self reflection and sustained practice. She is passionate about leading a fulfilled life and teaching others to do the same through the lens of yoga.
