Journey to the heart of Rajasthan, where ancient fort walls and sacred temples stand watch over the quiet Indian countryside. Set within the world-renowned Six Senses Fort Barwara, this retreat offers the opportunity to experience both yoga and luxury at their very finest.
Each day begins with breakfast overlooking the Aravalli Hills and unfolds into 4 hours of transformative asana practice, breathwork and reflection with Colleen Saidman and Rodney Yee. Together they’ll guide us through practices that awaken the mind, balance the body, and reveal the secrets of yoga.
After our morning session, you might relax in the Fort’s lush gardens, enjoy an Ayurvedic treatment at the spa, or cool off in one of the sparkling swimming pools. For those who wish to adventure in the afternoons, or in the days before and after retreat, Rajasthan offers endless wonders— from the pink streets of Jaipur, to the iconic Taj Mahal, to the wild beauty of Ranthambore National Park, where tigers and leopards wander freely.
Here, in the birthplace of yoga, we’ll connect to the roots of our practice and return to our most true Selves.
Six Senses Fort Barwara
Formerly a 700-year old royal fort, the Six Senses Fort Barwara has been meticulously restored into a sanctuary of wellness. The property’s luxury suites seamlessly blend heritage architecture with modern comforts. Outside your room, you’ll find hand-carved stone arcades, peaceful courtyards, refreshing swimming pools, a 30,000 square-foot spa, and magical views of the surrounding villages and lake.

You will fly into Catania airport. There are only 15 rooms in Rocca Delle Tre Contrade, which means it will be very intimate. A heated pool and tennis courts available for use and bodywork available upon request can be prearranged by the villa. Across the weekend, you’ll move through a thoughtful blend of asana, meditation, and pranayama, with sessions designed for all levels and offering a range of intensities—from more dynamic, energizing practices to quieter, restorative ones. As your understanding of these practices deepens, so too will your ability to apply them skillfully in daily life, meeting each moment with greater sensitivity and ease.
In quiet moments of attention to the breath, you may begin to notice how the weathervane of your body points you toward the practices that are most needed. Each session offers sequences chosen to support the full range of inner “weather,” helping you respond with steadiness and sincerity.
