Women’s Retreat at The Dutchess in the Hudson Valley

Join me in January for a 2-night women’s retreat at The Dutchess, a stunning 236 acre property in The Hudson Valley! There are 2.5 miles of trails, buildings dating back to the mid 1700’s, and a spa. Chef Mark will be preparing locally sourced meals for our gourmet experience, all of which are included in the retreat package. A full itinerary will be emailed before your stay.

This retreat will focus on yoga for grounding, connection and calm during a time of confusion and insecurity. Women are welcome of all levels of yoga experience from beginner to advanced. We will use pranayama, asana, meditation, conversation, journaling, laughing, self study and plenty of nature to cut through layers of fear and isolation that we all experience. There is no denying the power of a group of women. We need each other. We are stronger together.

Yoga Retreat in Laguna Beach, California

Hotel Joaquin is a 21 room resort style full service hotel nestled along the coast of Laguna Beach. Overlooking the vastness of the Pacific Ocean, just off the historic Coast Highway, Hotel Joaquin enjoys some of the most pristine coastline in the world as its de-facto backyard. Yoga Retreat in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica

Our tropical surf and yoga adventure is at an intimate beachfront hotel located in Santa Teresa, a breathtaking white sand beach on the Pacific Ocean of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula Blue Zone. Situated on four acres of unspoiled tropical beach, you will find beautiful swimming areas and also outcroppings of rock where natural tide pools form. One of the best things about staying at Tropico Latino is the beachfront access. Whether you’re a surfer, swimmer, beach walker, or all of the above, you’ll find the hotel perfectly located. Christopher Golden and Stacy Haessler are good friends who met during a Yoga Shanti teacher training many years ago. They both love the space of retreat as a way to dive into yoga and completely relax.

Retreat Includes:

  • 6 nights, 7 days at a beautiful hotel on the beach in Santa Teresa
  • 2 daily yoga classes (arrival day there will be a single afternoon class and on departure day there will be a morning class).
  • 3 meals daily that emphasize organic and local foods. 2 dinners not included (this will
    be an opportunity to explore Santa Theresa).

  • Flights to and from San Jose Airport (The fastest way to get to Santa Teresa is to book a 25 min domestic round trip flight with Sansa Airlines from the international airport in San Jose (SJO) to the domestic airport in Tambor. Taxi and shuttle service can be provided from the airport.)

Long-Weekend Retreat
at Menla in the Catskills

Join Colleen and Rodney at the beautiful and refreshing Menla Mountain Retreat Center in the Catskills this Spring. Over the 4 days, Colleen and Rodney will teach six yoga classes moving through asana, pranayama, and meditation. There will be plenty of time to enjoy Menla’s beautiful and amazing new spa for body work, steam, and sauna. In addition, a traditional sweat lodge will be offered on Friday and Saturday nights.

Plan to arrive on the afternoon of Thurs May 14th. Check-in time is 3pm. We will start the retreat together with yoga from 4:30-6pm, followed by dinner. Friday and Saturday morning yoga class is from 9-11:30am and afternoon yoga, 4:30-6pm. Final yoga class on Sunday morning, 9-11:30am, followed by lunch and check out by 2pm. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the retreat package rates.

Finding Joy Through Self-Care: Women’s Retreat in The Catskills

In this course, you can expect to move your body, follow your breath, notice your habits, and be inspired to take this love and self-care into your daily lives long past the retreat. We will dig deep and discover who is living in these bodies. Women need to gather even if just to feel the comfort and strength of other women in a room and even if no words are spoken. When women are together, a raw honestly surfaces, and we see one another below the surface where it’s raw and beautiful and rare to touch. It is a relief to see and be seen in a world where we don’t even know that we are yearning for it. During this weekend retreat, we will brush off the dust that has collected over the past couple of years and let our true essence shine again. We will do this by moving our bodies, following our breath, listening to music, walking in nature, sharing food and laughter, etc.  A weekend such as this can truly be transformational. Please come and refill your own cup. If community is what you crave, you will be satiated. If alone time is what is needed, we have you covered with walks on magical grounds, massages, naps, journaling, reading, etc. After the past two years, we need to replenish, be inspired, and come home to our beautiful bodies.
