Inversions Workshop: Flip it Around (for all practitioners)

In this workshop, we will start by practicing a short series of asanas that explore standing on one leg (Eka Pada Poses) and progress to inversions. From the feet to the head, we will work on ways to refine balance and coordination of different parts of the body, then flip that experience around. Expect to be challenged playfully, safely and to great beats by standing on head, hands, and forearms. By the end of this workshop you will approach inversions with greater clarity and confidence. Cost: $45

YOGA SHANTI GOLD: Monthly on a Sunday

About Yoga Shanti Gold: Usually (though not always*) on the third Sunday of the month YOU help select the topics for our Yoga Shanti Gold sessions; one philosophical pondering and a specific asana! Colleen Saidman Yee and Rodney Yee weave these into a 30-minute asana practice* followed by a 30-minute talk with Q & A session. Yoga Shanti Gold sessions take place over Zoom so that we can foster community with an up-close and personal vibe. The discourse will be generated by deeply harvested questions. Anyone can attend—there are no prerequisites besides a Beginner’s Mind and a desire to explore yoga and its core principles! Participants are not required to participate in the asana portion or discussions; sitting, observing, and listening are equally welcome.

*Occasionally Yoga Shanti Gold happens on a different Sunday of the month due to scheduling conflicts.

Tickets: $30
Subscribers to any of our monthly subscription passes get FREE access to our Gold session each month (if your subscription is not unlimited we will send you a replenishment credit within 24 hours when you sign up for Gold)Important for everyone: You must be registered for this event even if you know you cannot attend in order to receive an email with a link to the Replay recording that will be sent out after the event.

UPCOMING GOLD EVENTS

Advanced Practice Workshops

Weekly on Mondays @ 5:30pm EST this Summer: After learning to tie your shoelaces, one might have to ask why you are putting the shoes on in the first place. Let’s dive deeper than just doing poses and sequences and, instead, ask “Why?”. Why do a specific sequence, why align the bones, why ask “why”? As we ask “why,” we might uncover the essence of our yoga pursuit which can streamline our energies around our real dharma. Come ready to practice advanced asana leaving room for pranayama, philosophy and meditation. Please e-mail your sincere questions to sagharbor@yogashanti.com by Mondays at 12:00pm EST and Rodney will do his best to address them during the practice.

Aroma TRE® Nervous System Reboot Workshop

Join us for easy to follow practices to make transformative changes in your body, mind and spirit. You will learn the simple self-help tool that is scientifically proven to relieve anxiety, stress and trauma.

Utilizing the olfactory system, our sense of smell with specific essential oils and TRE, which stands for Trauma Release Exercises, we can erase built up stress and tension while gently clearing challenging emotions and memories.  You will learn a self-empowering series of exercises and a memory release technique which will restore an inner sense of peace and relaxation.

The exercises safely activate a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. After doing TRE®, many people report feelings of peace and well-being. TRE has helped many thousands of people globally.

Workshop Cost: $20
