Join Angela for an afternoon of sacred music, call-and-response chanting, and a restorative sound journey. Through the ancient practice of kirtan, soulful vocals, and immersive sound, Angela creates a welcoming space for all to quiet the mind, open the heart, and experience the healing power of music in community.
Angela Hassan is a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and devotional artist whose offerings weave together kirtan, original music, mantra, and storytelling into experiences that invite presence, connection, and joy. Her music opens the heart and creates a path to stillness, community, and the remembrance of our shared humanity and the sacred harmony that resides in all things.
This full-body practice is designed to build heat, improve mobility, and leave you feeling strong, energized, and relaxed. Expect a dynamic flow that will elevate your heart rate while staying rooted in mindful movement and conscious breath.
As the class winds down, we’ll shift gears, trading effort for ease with restorative poses followed by meditation. It’s the balance of challenge and surrender that allows the body to absorb the work and the mind to settle.
For those practicing online, we’ll also send you the class playlist so you can recreate the same experience from home.
Come ready to sweat. Leave feeling restored.

Remember your body as a temple and reclaim the mind as sacred space. We will begin by gently opening the neck, the rib cage, the belly, the hips and the spine. Followed by focused breathing practices to cleanse and activate the energetic channels. Then we will bathe in healing frequencies designed to improve cellular function, deepen our connection to Self, and awaken us from the illusion of separateness.

Welcome to the first Long Ialand Yoga Festival. The three-day festival beginning on the International day of Yoga and the Summer Solstice is an immersive experience designed to enlighten and fill body, mind, and spirit with positive energy and vibes. Rodney Yee and Coleen Saidman Yee will be teaching a 2-hour masterclass on Sunday, June 23, 4-6pm.
In this workshop, we will start by practicing a short series of asanas that explore standing on one leg (Eka Pada Poses) and progress to inversions. From the feet to the head, we will work on ways to refine balance and coordination of different parts of the body, then flip that experience around. Expect to be challenged playfully, safely and to great beats by standing on head, hands, and forearms. By the end of this workshop you will approach inversions with greater clarity and confidence. Cost: $45
